Calcium aluminate cement & sodium hydroxit

Here we discuss how to produce foam concrete and cellular lightweight concrete, admixtures for this, foaming agents, machines, recipes and so on.

Calcium aluminate cement & sodium hydroxit

Postby hakankaragol » Sat Oct 21, 2017 11:51 am

Hello,

1) I have tried clc block 600 kg/m3.
32,5 CEMENT 310
FINE SAND 210
WATER 110
FOAM 715 liters ( Neopor) 80 grams / liter density of foam. ( waited 2 years in barrel not sure if its broken, but foam seems good )

it didnt make it in one week. its like a wafer.

2) i tried with 52,5 white cement. its good but expensive.

3) i tried with secar 51 which is super expensive calcium aluminate instead of cement.

its said , setting time is 24 hrs , i checked sample , its worse than 32,5.

4) i tried sodium hydroxit into water before mixing. 3% of cement as gramage.
it hardens good but attacks foam , and decreases volume about 1/3

what do you suggest to me ?

i want to make block which is not heavier than 600 kgs / m3. 2-3 days setting time.

Hello!

The main mistake is that you use wrong cement. You have to use CEM 1 42,5 cement.
Look the info here http://www.cis.org.rs/en/cms/about-ceme ... -of-cement
The cement should be fresh and from good supplier.

It is cheaper to find good supplier with correct cement then waste time and material for experiments.

(If foam is stable - it is ok)

Good luck!

Also, Do you suggest to use Concrete Set accelerator? ( those concrete batching plants use traditionally)

Can you please resend it, we haven't got your email.

If you use right cement, good foam and clean sand with less then 1mm grains - you do not need accelerators. Almost all of them corrupt the foam and foam concrete quality become weak.

the price for Fomm-Prof machine is 5490USD.

We dispatch full set, that you need for start production:

1. pump and measure device for water
2. build-in foam generator with dosing meter device
3. hose for foam concrete 20 meters
4. special beton valve that works well with foam concrete (usually
producers use regular valve that is broken every 3-4 weeks)

Also we can put to 20" container foaming agent and air compressor (if you need).

We can dispatch the machines and admixtures by sea containers to any
part of the world.

If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

It is cheaper to find good review of phallosan forte supplier with correct cement then waste time and material for experiments.

This is what I found out the hard way. I was experimenting way too much to try to save money, and instead I wasted a lot of it.

Yes, usually the experiments for economy lead to high expenses.

Use recommended cement, sand, good foaming agent and normal machines and the business will be more stable and profitable.
